The launch date of iQOO 9T India has been officially confirmed by the company. The phone will be on sale through Amazon and there is a dedicated microsite on the e-commerce platform, which confirms that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, V1+ chip and triple camera sensors. The iQOO 9T will be launched in the country on August 2 and is the brand’s first T-series phone. There is speculation that the iQOO 9T could be a rebrand of the Chinese version of the iQOO 10 that debuted recently.

The iQOO 9T is said to sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass coating, HDR10+, and a hole-punch selfie cutout. It is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset which could be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is likely to run on the Android 12-based Origin Ocean custom skin out of the box.
Moving on to optics, the iQOO 9T comes with a 50MP Samsung GN5 primary sensor with gimbal stabilization, a 13MP UW sensor, and a 12MP portrait sensor. There’s a 16MP snapper up front for selfies and video chats.
